Umoja is building a serious soccer club in Clarkston, and keeping it open to players who would otherwise never get the chance. Charitable gifts are what make that possible.
Give now ↓Umoja Soccer Club’s application for recognition as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code is pending with the IRS. The application was timely filed within 27 months of formation. If approved, Umoja’s tax-exempt status generally will be effective as of its date of formation, and qualifying contributions made during the pending period will be deductible to the extent permitted by law. Donors do not have advance assurance of deductibility while the application is pending.
Your gift helps Umoja run its soccer programming and remove the barriers — cost, transportation, equipment, food — that would otherwise keep a player off the field.
Monthly gifts are easier for the club to plan around. A season is long, and steady support is what lets Umoja commit to a player for all of it.
Umoja directs charitable gifts where they are most needed across the club.
