The season estimate assumes your family may need one full hotel room for each overnight event. That gives you a conservative number to plan around; it is not a bill from Umoja. Before each trip, Umoja will send the actual hotel booking link, deadline, and trip instructions. If your player travels without a parent or guardian, do not book a separate player room unless Umoja tells you to — Umoja will coordinate the player’s lodging. Approved scholarship support is applied privately.
Transportation and travel meals are optional and the amounts shown here are season planning estimates. Select either, both, or neither to see how they affect your budget. These selections stay on this page and are not submitted to Umoja. Your actual choices are confirmed through the trip-specific instructions Umoja sends before each event. If Umoja later collects more for a service than its final actual cost, the unused balance may be refunded or credited to your Umoja account.
Need help getting to regular practices? This page is only for competition travel. Practice transportation is handled separately. Umoja may offer route-based transportation privately to scholarship families where there is enough demand, and the club can help families coordinate carpools.

Umoja transportation and meal estimates are reconciled against actual costs. Trip-specific instructions will tell Umoja which competition-travel services your player will actually use.
